Happy Monday guys! It has been an absolutely GLORIOUS weekend but I am SO tired today.

I think it's safe to say that the past month or so is finally starting to catch up with me! The fact that we have somehow also managed to get a heatwave has completely taken the energy out of me. Not moaning at all...I am praying for the sun to hold out another week (Glastonbury countdown = two days).

ANYWAY. This is a very exciting post for me. When I first heard that Daniel Wellington were releasing a brand new watch collection, I couldn't wait. I think I was actually the only member of my family that didn't own one - until now!

Funnily enough, I actually do have remarkably tiny wrists (it is a slight shock in comparison to my hips, but hey, you can't win them all!) therefore some watches can completely dwarf me. This Classic Petite collection is so perfect for my wrist size, as it has all of the amazing attributes from their other complete range and still manages to keep the elegancy of the watch face, whilst offering a smaller, more retro alternative.

Ironically, this watch has got me thinking about time and how fast it moves (not only because I now have a device that measures this) but also how I am managing my own time.

There is a lot going on at the moment (good things!) and hopefully lots more of that to come moving forward, but I want to make sure that I have a balance in my life and make sure that I am on track in all areas - making sure that I don't miss out on living life.

If you read my last post, you will remember that I mentioned horoscopes and how I am really loving them at the moment. This is exactly the same with quotes and always has been for me. I have recently read a new quote that is now one of my favourite quotes of all time. It is relatively long and it will be shared in an up and coming post, but it highlights the need for balance in life and I really want to apply that to how I live mine.

SO, I have some new things that are helping me ensure I can achieve this balance; thanks to my amazing Sister, I now have a planner with a daily schedule so that I can plan my time more effectively. I keep a notepad with me at all times so that I can capture content at any given moment as I often feel most inspired when I am away from my laptop. I now have a new watch (of course - couldn't you tell?) to keep myself more time focused. And last but not least wine because, well, sometimes I get thirsty.

You can get 15% off everything at Daniel Wellington and of course on the new Classic Petite collection with code MELISSAHARRIS15 (valid until 15th July).

This post is in collaboration with Daniel Wellington.
