DARE TO FLARE

I think I am half writing this post in a bid to distract myself from the fact that I am currently sat in my living room and not at Coachella (cry) but hey, lets face facts and do this.

Now that I have ever so slightly acknowledged Coachella and faced up to reality - I am starting to focus my thoughts towards upcoming festivals that I am actually attending...enter Glastonbury.

I just find it so fantastic that people from all over the country/world gather together in a field (fine...maybe a desert or beach too) and just have the time of their lives. So lets talk about equally important things as the experience - fashion! I am determined this year to not leave my festival outfit planning to the last minute. Last year was my first ever Glasto, so I guess I can just put this down to inexperience. This year I am not falling foul of this, I am prepared and ready to tackle my festival prep full on (with the assistance of Pinterest, of course).

So with this in mind, I am currently on a mad hunt for anything that sparkles or flares. So maybe I am starting the theme a little early with this look, but I couldn't resist when the sun popped out. This amazing flared dress is from Missguided and despite getting my sleeve trapped in the front door when I left the house in the morning, I am obsessed! Yep - you heard correct, it is a dress. I decided to team it with this frayed denim skirt to tone it down for my errands around London. This does however give me an excuse to re-wear it with some strappy heels for a night on the tiles. I have also already confirmed its attendance to Glastonbury this year, probably paired with the classic flower crown and wellies...easy!

So I am going to sign off now, probably to go and refresh my social media to get my latest fix of Coachella. Lets be honest.

Oh, and Happy Easter Weekend you lovely bunch!
